About the Society
The Society of Mary Queen of Peace of Pottsville's mission is to preserve the Chapel of Mary Queen of Peace Church as a sacred Catholic space under the Diocese of Allentown for private prayer and devotion. As a nonprofit organization, the Society is committed to maintaining the church and its preservation while safeguarding its spiritual and historic presence in the Pottsville community. Our mission is to ensure that this special place remains a source of prayer, peace, and Catholic devotion for generations to come.
Board of Directors
The Society of Mary Queen of Peace, a “private association of the Christian faithful,” is dedicated to preserving this Catholic chapel in perpetuity in accordance with the Code of Canon Law of the Catholic Church.

Mr. Robert Antonini
President of the Board
Mr. Antonini as president provides overall leadership and direction to ensure the Society fulfills its mission of preserving Mary Queen of Peace Chapel as a sacred Catholic space. He oversees governance, strategic decisions, and coordination among board officers in accordance with the organization’s charitable purpose. Mr. Antonini is also owner of Antonini Radiator in Pottsville, a local business with roots dating back to 1988. His experience as a longtime business owner brings practical judgment, continuity, and a strong sense of stewardship to the Society’s preservation efforts, especially in planning for the long-term care of the historic and sacred property.

Dr. Michael Rajchel
Secretary
Dr. Rajchel as secretary maintains the official records of the Society, including meeting minutes, resolutions, corporate documentation, webmaster duties, and strategic planning materials, helping ensure transparency, continuity, and effective governance. He is an active U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel serving in Tokyo, Japan and holds a Doctor of Business Administration. As a parishioner of Mary Queen of Peace and an Eagle Scout, he brings commitment to service, duty, and community to the Society’s mission, along with a passion for architecture, preservation, and real estate restoration. His background in logistics, operations, and organizational management brings a disciplined approach to the Society’s administrative structure and strategic planning.

Mrs. Chrissy Doyle
Treasurer
Mrs. Doyle as treasurer oversees the financial stewardship of the Society, including budgeting, accounting, and the safeguarding of assets, helping ensure that the organization’s funds are managed responsibly in support of its charitable and educational mission and in compliance with applicable nonprofit standards. She has had long-term involvement in the Mary Queen of Peace effort as a parishioner and leader, as well as in the wider Pottsville community, and also assists in coordinating events and activities that support the life of the chapel. Her longstanding experience, institutional knowledge, and faithful service are of significant value in maintaining the continuity of the chapel’s operations and advancing its mission.

Mr. Brody Hale, Esq.
General Counsel
Mr. Hale, Esq. as general counsel provides legal guidance to help ensure that the Society operates in compliance with applicable law, its governing documents, and the legal standards relevant to nonprofit governance and preservation work. Attorney Hale concentrates his practice in areas including nonprofit law, social entrepreneurship, estate planning, and real estate. He has helped guide more than two dozen nonprofit entities through formation and tax-exempt recognition. He is also well known for his work assisting Catholics seeking to preserve threatened churches and sacred spaces, giving the Society informed counsel at the intersection of law, mission protection, and Catholic preservation efforts.

Mr. Jason Bolte
Board Member
Mr. Bolte as aboard member supports the mission of the Society through active participation in governance, planning, and decision-making, helping ensure that its work remains aligned with its long-term preservation purpose. He is the founder of Save Rome of the West, an organization formed to assist Catholic laity in preserving churches and other sacred spaces from closure or secularization. Through that work, he has developed substantial experience in advocacy, organizing, and canonical appeals, bringing valuable strategic perspective to the Society’s mission of preserving Mary Queen of Peace as a sacred Catholic chapel.

Mr. Joseph Hoeber
Board Member
Mr. Hoeber as a board member assists in guiding the Society’s initiatives through collaboration, stewardship, and advocacy, helping support the continued preservation and devotional use of the chapel. As a real estate agent and the founder of Inertia Martial Arts and Fitness, he brings experience in both client service and small-business leadership. That combination offers the board a practical, service-oriented perspective, especially in matters involving community engagement, property stewardship, and the sustained support needed to advance the Society’s mission over time.

Chaplain
Provides spiritual oversight to ensure the Society’s work remains in full accord with Catholic doctrine, discipline, and canon law. Advises the Board on matters affecting the sacred use of the chapel and supports the faithful through prayer, sacramental ministry when appropriate, and pastoral guidance.
