Since 1919, Mary Queen of Peace has stood as a place of Catholic prayer, devotion, and community in Pottsville. Since its preservation and reopening in 2025, this beloved chapel has continued its mission through the generosity of faithful supporters, volunteers, and benefactors. Today, your gift helps ensure that Mary Queen of Peace remains a sacred place of prayer, devotion, and Catholic witness for generations to come.
The Society of Mary Queen of Peace of Pottsville was formed to preserve Mary Queen of Peace as a Catholic sacred space and to operate exclusively for charitable purposes. As owner and steward of the chapel, the Society is responsible for maintaining the property, supporting its devotional and liturgical life, and preserving its historic and spiritual legacy.
The Society receives no funding from the Diocese of Allentown and is fully financially independent. Every donation directly supports the chapel’s preservation, ongoing operations, ministry, and future sustainability.

Our online payment processor, Zeffy, may suggest an optional contribution to support its platform, but this is not required. To decline it, simply select “Other” and enter “0.” Because Zeffy does not charge the Society payment processing fees, you may wish to take that into consideration when making your gift.

Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Through our chapel wish list, supporters may give furnishings, devotional items, maintenance supplies, or help sustain ongoing costs such as candles, votive lights, incense, cleaning materials, and other consumables. Every gift helps preserve Mary Queen of Peace as a sacred Catholic space.

The ENDOWMENT
A permanent endowment fund is being established to support the chapel’s long-term spiritual and pastoral mission.
An endowment is a lasting form of stewardship. Contributions are carefully invested, and a portion of the earnings is used each year to support the chapel’s ministries, preservation, and care. Each gift bears fruit while helping sustain the church for generations to come.
